A wandering soul moving ever forward
Sets sail upon a vast horizon
Seeking what lies beyond understanding
And moor upon conscious knowledge
Propelled upon a vessel birthed of personal experiences
Found in Him rising above the waters
And spirited away in a course set beyond
With Dreams too large for one heart to hold
Within each unknown season shipwreck presses against the steady course
But in His Spirit empowerment rises yet again
Through the waters of circumstances
And beyond this stormy course
The vessel that kept aloft one’s own heart
Now lends to another
Fellow sojourners emerging from shipwrecked waters
Find a kindred spirit and a caring heart
To bear them through a season of their journey
Long in need of rest and rejuvenation
And soon find hope upon that vast horizon once again
Some may find their journeys inevitably intertwined
Two captains divinely merged upon one vessel
And together they chase that vast horizon
Enshrouding Heaven’s Home.
